Meet John R. Gilmore, M.D.
Otolaryngology Specialist

Dr. Gilmore received his Bachelor of Science degree cum laude from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and his Medical Doctorate degree from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed a surgical internship and an additional year of general surgery residency at Parkland Hospital and Southwestern Medical School affiliated hospitals. He subsequently completed a residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Duke University Medical Center. Dr Gilmore has previously had an appointment as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. John R. Gilmore is the author of scientific publications in professional journals and textbooks on medical conditions including disorders of the pituitary and skull base surgery. Dr. Gilmore is a past president of the Dallas Academy of Otolaryngology and is currently an officer and board member of The Texas Institute for Surgery surgical specialty hospital and Genesis Physicians Group.
