Meet Amy Conner, OD.
Therapeutic Glaucoma Optometrist
Dr. Amy Conner joined our practice in July of 2018. Before this, she completed a residency in anterior segment disease and specialty contact lenses at the Texas Eye Research Technology Center at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Her doctorate in optometry with a therapeutic glaucoma entity came from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX.
With a Masters in business and health administration and a Bachelors degree in biology from Virginia Tech, Dr. Conner is a newly branded Texan.
Dr. Conner prides herself in patient relationships and loves to get to know her patients. Her specialties include pediatrics, pediatric contact lenses, scleral contact lenses, rigid gas permeable contact lenses, ortho keratology contact lenses for over night correction of refractive errors, keratoconus, corneal ectasias, dry eye disease, and diabetic eye exams.
Dr. Conner has very little time for leisure as she has a one year, energetic little boy she chases around. She has been happily married to her navy veteran husband for almost five years. She enjoys outdoor activities like running and any beach time she can work into her schedule.
